Hi All,
We have started to see some customers receive letters from the Domain Renewal Group who are asking to switch the domain to themselves. (see attached).
A quick Google search will show many posts relating to the Domain Renewal Group.
BT do not send out renewal letters but will send an email 60 days prior to expiry then 45 days advising the domain is due for renewal.

Attached is another example of an email sent to customers.
This one is not actually a renewal notice for the domain but renewal for "search engine submission" which is not required.
If anyone has other examples of these types of email, please forward these to admin@btnames.com.

We have started seeing a couple of these coming through.
Please note that BT will send renewal reminders 60 days prior to expiry.
You can also renew your domain via http://myoffice.bt.com then by clicking on "manage your domains".
