Hi CallumFinlayson, I have often wondered why we don't have an RSS feed, Email or SMS txt message system for exactly this. When you think about it though how would you manage a system like this? with such a large customer base it is impossible to do this cost effectively by any means other than that which is already in place.
I guess if you can get access to email the thought process would be that you can access the service status page but we are allways open and willing to listen to ideas on how to improve service delivery.
Personally I think it a good idea to offer an enhanced service that will deliver txt updates to subscribers but thats just my own thought and not one endorsed by BT in any way.
BT already offer a FREE service status telephone number 0800 169 0199 for all broadband updates. If we were to offer a more enhanced service such as txt updates this would have to be paid for in some way!
maybe some of our other forum members could add their own thoughts?
