We have now relocated from Royal Clarence Marina to Birdham Pool and just to advise on the Birdham BT Openzone service.
It's very poor; many timeouts to the point it's an unusable service. I am 25metres from an OZ access point (repeater) and, as it's a very flakey service, it can take an hour+ to do what used to take a few minutes on what was a similar OZ service at Royal Clarence. Even using my high gain wifi antenna and connecting to the OZ primary (about 120 metres from me) it doesn't deliver any where near what could be considered a satisfactory service.
Now I know you guy's wont talk to me as I am just a BT business user - but BT have lost Royal Clarence to Spectrum and your contract in Birdham expires in a few weeks; so if you want to keep Birdham on Openzone then you need to improve it as I will be very vocal with Marina management !! (and as I've said before the BT service can be very good - but BT need the occasional kick to sort out poor service delivery).
So over to you: improve it or possibly lose it (to Spectrum)
