Hi Everyone!
Last Friday my premises's line went totally dead.
I contacted the BT infinity team who informed me there was a line fault and they sent an engineer out who replaced the infinity modem (not the hub) and did some work in the cabinet.
Since then, I've only been getting 35mbps connection rates.
This is half of the 70-76 I was getting prior to the line fault, and nothing anyone has told me to do has assisted in anyway.
I was told to:
Remove everything from the sockets
Restart the modem by pressing the "Reset" button the back of the Openreach modem
Leaving the modem powered off for 15m and powering on again
Factory reset the hub, and a reconfigure
It's persisted all week and has been impacting my business, web-browsing of my staff and their VPN access etc.
Is there anything I can do to get this up to spec again?
Anything else that might help?
Nobody have any hints?
Ask Tech Support to check that you are on an 80/10 service and have not accidentally been switch back to 40/10 or 40/2 ...
