2 questions.

1. What's the procedure to turn off order confirmation so it isn't confirmed until payment received. I'm getting an increasing number of adandoned orders.

2. If a customer gets confused by payment screen, how can they get back into their order to try and pay. Both me and my husband has done dummy orders and not paid, and there is no way that we can get back into the order to pay when we go to the Paypal screen and go back wiithout paying.

By the way, the epages help manual is useless!

Hello,

1. this question has already been aswered and this is true, you can set this up in the specific payment and the order will only be created, if the enduser finishes the full payment steps. Please be aware, as sometimes it happens, that customers by accident will close the browser and think they have finished it, but did not and you will never know if there was an order or not. We recommend to have orders created even before payment is finished, you can close the order in case it was abandoned.

2. this depends on the setting as described in nr. 1. If the order is already created in the shop, the enduser will get back to the shop (the order already is created and finished, even, if payment was not succesfull) in this case he has to do a second order. If the settings are, that the order will not be created until payment is succesful, then you will get back to the order and can finish it.

For Question 1>

Try...Settings/Payment and delivery/Payment Method from here click Paypal and this should take you to a screen where have way down it says Order Creation Occurs....you can choose from the two options provided.

Play around with them, as i am not sure how well the second option work. Be interested in your feedback.

Not sure there ia a solution to Question 2. Once you leave eShop and go to Paypal, I think thats it....no going back! Unless someone can tell me otherwise.
