How to access private network after assigning static IP?

I've got BTinfinity business with 5 static Ip's and have worked out to assign the static Ip's to the PC's that I need to but one thing I can't work out is that because the static Ip's are on a range of 217.xx.xxx.xx , those pc's can no longer see other computers on the network as they have a different ip range of 192.168.1.xx

Can anyone tell me how to make all the pc's see each other again or should I really have gone for the single IP to make things a lot easier?

This should serve as a bump. I only use 1 fixed IP so not 100% sure with Business Broadband interface but shouldn't your router be listening on all 5 IPs but internal machines use DHCP from the hub and then the hub forwards all traffic for a specifc IP to the machine you have currently assigned the static IPS. That is, remove the static IPS and let the hub\router do the work. Yep, I've found the step by step here:

I would consider the security issues on that approach 😞
