Twice in as many weeks, I haven't been able to log onto my server. I can't see it through the web browser, emails cease to send or retrieve. I can't ping the server either. What's more, all the domains on the same server have exactly the same problem.
No problem through the Vodafone mobile network, only the BT Broadband connection.
I have a Dynamic IP and when the router is turned off and on again, I have access again. This happened last week and again tonight.
Before I send a rocket up the server guys, I wanted to make sure I have covered all the other areas.

I've seen similar circumstances to this where it turned out the host was blocking BT's IP addresses, although they vigorously denied it for weeks.
PM me the details and I'll test it on our crash machine, which is also on a BT connection.

You can check here www.dnsbl.org if there is any service bolck for your IP address.
If this block some service then you may take 7-10 days to resolve the problems.
