Infinity2 Business .. terrible latency, slows to 3.6d at times.. Xbox live issues!!

Hi, i've had bt fibre at my home since it was available, when i moved my work to an office away from home, i moved my bt internet to that address and then later had infinity2 installed back at home.. Despite BT customer services telling me it wasnt available yet in my area yet.. so that was my first hurdle..

..now its installed some weeks, its slower using services like Xox live where i continuely loose server connections with EA and Xbox and cannot play a single game without terrible lag in game play..  while a file download once started will usually download well, latency with the BT infinity is terible and constantly fails to respond.

Personally i cant help but think with all the BT vision and streaming BT are doing to peoples set top boxes, this is partly to blame for my second rate service i'm being charged first rate prices.  I made the choice to use BT business so that my connection has preference as explained to me, but it seems to me traffic management is being used on my connection especially during peak times when my internet becomes un-usable!

After reading other posts, im shocked at some of the posts on here and maybe more people should report their faults to Of-com as my experience suggests the moment you mention speaking to of-com, BT manage to do something..finally.

Thanks

Hi,

I see you used the automated online system to raise your fault.

I wouldn't tbh.  In my opinion you're better calling in to the Fibre Helpdesk on 08001693809.

p.s. the only throttling that takes place on BT Business is with Peer to Peer traffic.  Anything else and it's a standard speed issue.
