Invalid BT security certificate prevents access to bt account website

I posted the following message on the Broadband board last week but have had no response.

Can someone tell me what's wrong and whether its safe to create an exception which Firefox is saying is the only way I can log in.

I'm trying to work on our website in Easysite Wizard but can't get get in because of this. I use Firefox because if i try to sign in with Google Chrome it tells me its an unsupported browser. The certificate problem is not with our website but with the main BT My Office site itself.

Whenever I try to log in to myoffice.bt.com on Firefox to manage our website I get the following message:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connectsecurely to myoffice.bt.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure. Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you aregoing to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

What Should I Do? If you usually connect tothis site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Technical Details myoffice.bt.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

There used to be no problem logging in. What's wrong?
