Hi
I am afraid i can't see any information on this enquiry. Are you being having problems posting to the forum?

erm... I did type a message in before posting my message... I'm wondering if this forum doesn't work with IE9? I've clicked compatibility view now, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Our problem is that we have BT Business Total Broadband, and a large proportion of visits to websites result in a Server Not Found message. Refresh resolves the problem, but it's been going on for nearly a year and is very tiresome.
We have a BT router, connect to it using network cables and run Windows 7 64 bit ultimate.
Hi
I believe there has been a number of users on the forum having problems with IE9, I've asked for this to be looked into and one of the moderators will update the forum with any information.
In regards to your issue with websites, I can see you started added to BT DNS thread in January but there was no resolution. With an issue like this if none of our forum users can offer any advice, I had a look but couldn't see any contact with the technical team so I am unsure what troubleshooting has been done so far. I would suggest talking to the Technical team, they have a chat facility and can go through some troubleshooting on the connection.
I hope you get on Ok,
Kind Regards

Hello.
This has very recently happend to me. have to keep pressing "retry", Tried using Firefox, Google chrome, IE8 and IE9 and tryed using a few different computers, Which run XP home editon my main laptop runs Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. It's annoying! I find google chrome the worst always drops the pages. try firefox and see if it is any good,
In regards to the IE9 problem, I do beta testing for Microsoft, and I was included in the group who test it, I will go and submit a report about it! Please make sure you install "compatibiility view" updates via windows update!
Cheers
Jacob.
I get the same and I'm on a Mac and Safari - very irritating.
There are times when nothing from the web loads and yet emails send and are received without a problem. This didn't happen before I was 'upgraded' to Fibre-Broadband.
I've been trying to keep records of when it happens so I can write a decent report but the problem is I've got a real business to run too.
I get this too on XP with Firefox. OH also gets it on Vista & Firefox. Very frustrating...
Googled it and someone suggested changing to auto-detect proxy settings ...which the OH has done and on a very limited test, seems better.....but I changed it on mine and use a Cisco VPN token to access the NHS N3 network...and when I made the change I then could not log into a website used for my on-call :-(. Hadn't had the problem prior to changing the proxy settings so have had to change back.
Hi all,
If you are havign a problem with websites loading first time, and if you click refresh/reload and it appears, this could be an issue with the DNS servers that have been assigned to your connection. If you contact our helpdesk either by phone or through chat, the technical team can investigate the issue for you.
