As with most retailers I want to do a sale promotion, unfortunately this does not seem to straightforward action on e pages.
I would like to see a facility through the Promotional products section to add to tray and create a blanket discount.
Ebay do something called a "Markdown Manager" which is really easy to use and should be a good starting point for reference.
The e pages version should enable the user to set a specific discount and also automatically add promotional text to item/s (set by user) and also show the original price with a strikethrough, and given a specific time period for which it will run.
