Mis sold by BT

Im not a happy customer..!  Just had my line connected last week and feel I have been mis sold the service by BT..!

 

I ordered a new phone line connection on the BT website with the aid of an online bt rep.  i was advised that if I got 2 lines with 1 phone number that I would be able to purchase an unlimited call package on only one of the lines at a later date.  Of course this has turned out not to be true....  When trying to order an unlimited package today I was told that I had to buy it for both line?????  Why????  Doesn't make sense...!  

 

Also I tried to order call minder for the line.. Again this is not possible.  I really need this service and was not made aware that it is not possible to have it on my line.  Instead the sales rep told me just to buy an answerphone!!!

 

I am not happy with this at all.  I feel that I have been mis sold my phone package and also I was not fully informed of the limitations of the phone line.  In fact when you try to order 2 new phone lines with the same number on the BT website it gives the option to have 'BT answer 1571' on both line???  This is very misleading as I have only now discovered.

 

Can someone at BT please tell me if it would be possible for me to change my line to 2 separate numbers??
