Moving line and broadband

BT just just wind me up. Last week we requested to move our line and broadband to out new office 500 yards away, on the same xchange with the same number. We were given a timescale of TWO weeks. On the same day we called SKY to arrange broadband at our house as the business broadband from BT is to move......It was on in less than 48 hours. Today no less than four vans arrived at the property adjoining us to put their line in. I called the instalation team to suggest that as they already had eight guys next door putting one line in, that they may be able to spare one to get our line on. The reply from Openreach ( a clandestine secret sociEty that you cannot speak too) was that they did not have the resources.

No wonder the line rental cost so much. I said to one of the engineers, "If there was an alternative in our location we would kick BT into touch because they,re crap"........and he agreed!

Same here. I cannot agree more as this is what I encountered with them as well.

Your lucky. We moved, took residental line with us coupled with our business broadband. It took me a full week to log on. In the meantime someone emptied our business bank account which I wanted to check whilst all this was happening. Then the bill came in for the broadband. £400.00!! It transpired BT had given us 2 broadband accounts on a single line, hence why we had so many BT issued user names and passwords to log on when we moved.. 5 months later I have switched the business broadband to residental as Residential does not talk to Business, and visa versa re accounts. I have a feeling that I now have a residential package with broadband, plus a business broadband. I am dreading the bills and phone calls.
