My website keeps publishing to preview and I'm wasting money every month

I don't know what is wrong but my I pay for hosting and my domain name. It isnt live or online and I'm wasting my money every MONTH i've tried everything and nothings working. I've phoned up so many times being told the problem will get resolved but it never does. I'm so upset about it. 

 

All i want is my website back online!

Hi,

 

I'm sorry you're having problems with this.

 

We've spoken to one of the VAS guys, and they've advised that you'll need to call in, although you can also go to http://www.dnsforms.co.uk and go to 'General Hosting Enquiry'.  That'll send an email to the VAS team (don't forget the details) and they'll be able to try and fix it.

I am just wondering. Why are you using a different link to route us to BT support page?

Hi,

 

Because the forward thinking guys on the DNS team set up a domain that points directly to their own set of contact webforms.

 

Might as well use them, as they're easier to spell.

In most cases the issue is a missing www record from the domain console.

If anyone else has this issue, please ensure the following are present in the domain console (there may be other entries which should not be removed unless you are confident in doing so).
 
Type    Key    Record

A    www     209.235.144.9
A    @         209.235.144.9
A    ftp        209.235.144.9

To access.

1. Log into http://myoffice.bt.com (under manage my service).

2. Click on "manage your domains".

3. Click on "Advanced manager"

Any issues please feel free to send a dns enquiry to www.dnsforms.co.uk.
