Need Help( Joomla Website) moving to BT

Hello All,

We have an intranet website for our company created with Joomla

at present we are hosting the website  locally in our office Linux server.

All our branches are connecting to our website through vpn.

Now we want to move to BT and transfer our existing joomla site to BT server.

Please give me some idea how to proceed.

Currently whenever I need to change anything into my website I do it locally on my server .

What if I move the site to BT, how I am going to do the changes to my site?

Any suggestions and reply will be appreciated

Moving a Joomla site would involved moving both site content, via ftp, and the database itself. Once you have the database exported from the server it is on and imported onto our platform you could manage the site via a secure admin link from your live site, something like youdomain.co.uk/joomlaadmin. Alternatively, and depending on the type of database and the server you have it on now, you can just move the ftp content and connect to the database remotely. Hope this helps.
