New Router sent 2wire 2701HGV wont connect

Hi wonder if anyone can help with this.

Last friday my older 2wire router stopped working 2700 after app 4yrs

BT sent a replacement after an hour on the phone confirming the old router was kaput.

Got a new router monday 2701hgv won't connect to the internet, phoned BT went through a whole load of setup checks etc, cables filters, power supply, router settings etc came to the conclusion the new router must be faulty.

Sent a replacement arrived tues went through the process again same issue with the router, they suggested in the meantime i purchase a 3rd party router, so i purchased a belkin this has the same issue as in the DSL light just keeps looping from orange to green and no internet connection...

Also in the meantime i found a old BT voyager and this connects straight away...

Spoke to BT Again wed and because the voyager works they suggested they send another 2wire 2701hgv out which arrived thurs still doesn't work.

Whats happening to the 2wire routers is they are looping flashing most of the lights power flashes green, then broadband, then power flashes red briefly then loops starts the process again does this about 5times until the power, broadband and internet lights all go constant red and the router needs to be re-started.

I've tried changing all the cables, its not setup i've been through this all with BT over the phone 4 times.

Its just bizarre that the old voyager works no worries but the 4 new routers sent don't...

Any help much appreciated this really is doing my head...

I've emailed 2wire direct with the issue's i'm having and they suggest its a sync issue but BT are stating because the voyager is connecting there's no issue with connection.

I will also mention last week BT were doing work on the broadband line i presume as for an afternoon as the internet was down for the area, could this have any bearing...

Engineer here yesterday, found the line has a voltage issue which he's traced back to the exchange, says i need a lift and shift (his words) but got denied by BT wholesale.

Had another call from you guys today another engineer will be calling tomorrow afternoon who will try to get permission for the lift and shift after verifying the line is fine and the issue is with the exchange...

All sorted now the 2nd engineer did the "lift and shift" at the exchange and the new router was up and running in 2min...

Glad to hear it is sorted ...

As I suggested a line card fault.  The lift and shift canged you to a new line card.
