Not good after ADSL2+ upgrade

simonbratt99

hi

Anyone else not having a good experience after upgrading from ADSL2 to ADSL2+ (CN21)

Even though our router is ADSL2+ compatible and modulation set to the correct setting, got many ADSL drop offs, sometimes (10 drops in 15mins, sometimes fine for a couple of hours)

Had to go back to the G.DMT modulation for some slow stability.

Our BB was only 3mb anyway.

thanks spank but i cant find a firmware 3.3.4 for my router

I cant afford to try turning interleaving off, even if BT understood me, and then the internet goes down. Its too risky without some sort of official BT advice.

Another day passing with not a word from BT.

My mistake, that firmware was for the 2820, sorry.

Today is tuesday, and still no word.

What is going on? its no wonder BT get some stick over customer service.

Meanwhile our business is left with a part working broadband.

Hi Simon,

After seeing your post today I chased and can see that you were contacted. I believe that they are sending out a Business Hub to see if this resolves your issue - I certainly hope so. I do apologise for the delay it took in you receiving a call regarding your issue.

Alun,

They are indeed sending a router, which is good news.

There was an option to possibly roll back to ADSL2 but for one id rather get the problem sorted and two, it would have ment 5 days down time, which is not an option.

It was a long delay, but thanks for keeping on the case.

I will update here just in case it helps anyone else.
