Number move from old business line to new...

Since Mon 13th, I have been trying to get our old business phone line ceased and that number connected to our new line, in our new premises. I was told this would take 24 to 48 hours, yet everyday, I am told 'give it another 24 hours' - then I discover there is no support at weekends.

I am chasing this daily - wasting significant time on the phone to India, while being unable to receive phone orders from customers, or direct them to our new premises. I'm amazed at the poor customer 'care' and how long this is taking.

I would like the job completed and then some honest answers as to what went wrong, followed by compensation for the loss of our incoming calls/telephone sales.  

 

If anyone from BT reads this and thinks they can escalate this, or speed it up in some way, the order no I was given is BTTT1884.  It's not recognised when I search for it using the online tools.

 

Extremely unhappy customer here. I'm thinking of just giving away the shares I own.

 

Also, not really sure why I'm paying for a business line, when there is no support at weekends?

And if something this simple takes this long, god forbid we ever get a fault on the line!!!

No surprise, they have managed to invoice me for the new line within this time - but you never know, there might be a technical problem on my end, delaying the payment by a couple of weeks!!!

 

1 week of telephone orders lost and counting.
