Ofcom?

Having recently taken a mobile contract with BT for 3 phones, and monitoring the usage, I was shocked to be told that MY handset had run up an additional £247 in a week, for exceeding my usage! I questioned it, and BT investigated and said I must have left something downloading in the background, which I didn't. Now my bill has come in, all 64 pages, itemised. Here's one example of countless that I can see:

26/Nov 18:42:15 duration 2:03:25 but also on the bill, at exactly the same time and date, I have a FURTHER 16 listed!

I also seem miraculously to be able to be charged £5.73 for different times, days and durations from 2:46:50 to 0:1:16

Since BT have investigated and not noticed any of this, who do I go to now? Is it Ofcom (OFtel?) and how do I proceed please?

Any help appreciated.

You should always check every move you make especially when purchasing anything. Not just in BT, but in any other products you intend on buying. I learned my lesson myself.
