PDQ Machine

Is it ok to put a PDQ Machine onto a broadband connection as well as the internet as I would like to connect PDQ Computer onto broadband and keep the phoneline dedicated to telephone.

I'm sorry you haven't had a reply sooner, Rodger.  If the PDQ machine connects using broadband, via an ethernet port on yoru router, then it shouldn't be an issue at all, it'll use the broadband connection.  If, however, it connects to the phone line, it can cause some disruption to the broadband signal.  The supplier of your PDQ machine may have additional information.

I was having the same concerns but my provider said that as long as the machine was up to date there wouldn't be any interuption when connecting, I was able to find out by reading the PDQ Machine Wiki most of the newer models are futureproof so can adapt to different connections - Hope this helps
