I have just subscribed to the Business VOIP service, and then am told that certain phones - which of course seems to include mine - will not work with the service.
I have a BT Relate SMS phone which I really do not want to replace - is the problem whereby certain phones do not work understood and are there any "fixes/workarounds"? It seems especially silly that a BT phone will not work!
There also appears to be no information advising what phones will work - and I do not want to go buy another phone and run into the same problem - is there any lists of known good/bad phones?

I used to support this product - the rule we had was 'the simpler the phone, the better'. Your £5 phone out of [insert budget retailer here] tends to work a treat, where the £100 phone from [insert communications giant here] didn't.
