SLOW and INTERMITTENT broadband all day today - 01384 7xxxx Brierley Hill exchange

After a day of rubbish remote connections for attempting to collect emails etc. from Phone / PC etc. while I have been out I can't get any decent connection into network.  Router connected OK but connection is generally appaling.

 

This has happended before but assumed it was where I was but this is the same from the office itself outwards and inwards from Eclipse home broadband, t-mobile 3G card and mobile phone...

 

Please advise how I can report this before Monday morning and a weekend of no server access.

Well after being able to call the 0800 fault no. eventually (wasn't going to pay to from mobile earlier) and going through the rigmarol of what OS and AV I am running, whether I have tested from the test socket etc. etc. and despite rebooting our router etc. within minutes of the guy going off to run his "line test" everything sprung back to life.  Rung me back saying does appear to be a problem on the line and will get engineer to get back to me within 48 hours...

 

Luckily whatever he did seemed to reset it ... 48 HOURS for a business line!!

 

Would be nice to know what actually was wrong but I guess will never know now.

I am really sorry to read you had problems with your connection on Friday but glad these are now resolved. There is a server status page on our help and support site which we update with any known issues. We also have a technical livechat during business hours which can be contacted to go through trouble shooting on your connection.

Hi

 

I have come to this thread as an last resort

 

I joined bt broadband after leaving sky tv (wish i hadnt) around 15 days ago & have had nothing but problems since

 

Everyday when i connet to the internet the broadband aftertime or even straight away disconnects from the net

 

This is very expensive to myself as i need my internet access for work so cant work without it. 

 

Give time i call your call centre they go through the softly softly way of getting me to do the same checks everytime, send new filters etc... and they also dont what to send a enginner out... which after around 6 attempts you would think they would need to (bt check the log for proof)

 

Only online just now as am using my friends t-mobile stick

 

please help or just fix my problem rather than just saying sorry everything and not doing anything about it

 

Running a SEO and search marketing company i will have no choice than to set up micro sites to explain to future clients the problem they could face by switching back or join bt broadband if tthis isnt getting fixed soon.

Sorry to hear that bud. I would phone them consistently. Sonetimes the issue could be complicated, especially if its an intermittent issue.

 

Try to phone them consistently until the problem gets resolved. Good luck.
