SYNC rate and DLM

Due to a faulty piece of kit in our office, our SYNC rate has taken a bit of a beating. We were priviously getting a constant 8Mb sync with 7Mb BRAS profile, however we now sync at just over 4Mb. The piece of equipment has now been removed, however after nearly a month without unusally high loss of sync or errors, the DLM has not increaced our sync rate.

Is it worth waiting any longer for the DLM to upgrade our profile and for BRAS to follow thereafter? If not, is it possible for BT to reset default values for SNR target and interleaving on the DLM?

I'd advise that you contact the technical helpdesk for assistance with this.  An SNR re-set may be possible.  Contact Us
