Speed drops in the afternoon

Anyone know why my broadband speed drops from about 15mb in the morning  to about 150k in the afternoon?

BT don't drop the price for afternoons so I can't see why they can't keep the speed consistent!

The thing is I am only 400 yards from the exchange, I can actually see the bl**dy building from my shop window.

We have infinity available in this area (Durham) but the price is crazy.

I thought Ofcom was supposed to be curtaiing price hykes or are BT immune?

Hi dcs,

I can see that you haven't contacted out Technical help to discuss the issues with your slow speed.

If you were to contact the Technical Help Team they would be able to check to ensure that there is no issues on your line to be causing the slow speed in the afternoon.

Hope this is of help.

Well after conatcting the Technical Help team I am exactly where I was a week ago. As soon as it hits 13:00 my speed drops from about 10mb to as low as 120kb/sec.

I have Orange Broadband at home and why oh why I didn't use them for my business broadband is sometjing I can't work out. There has only ever been one problem with Orange and it was sorted straight away, with BT after being routed to every town in India I'm still no further forward.

Let's see what tomorrow brings though I'm not very optomistic
