Can someone at BT justify why £5 pcm is a reasonable charge for a static IP?
This has finalised my decision not to use BT for newly available fttc services.

The increased cost of running our business in these tough economic times and changes in usage profiles means that we have to carry out regular pricing reviews to make sure our business remains healthy and profitable. We are conscious that times are tough for businesses. However, like any business we do review prices to ensure that our products remain competitive and that we can invest in the future of the company, in order to continue to offer things like fibre broadband and service at competitive prices.
