is it possibl eto switch a business line to residential online to save having to contact customer services?

I don't think so. Even if you managed to start doing it the system would probably fall over.

I was told to contact the sales team to switch but as it only saved £1 per month and they wanted £154 to do the switch I didn't go any further.
