Third level domain redirect

Hi everyone

How can I redirect a third level domain name from the BT hosting to my own ip address? Basically I would like ftp.mydomain.co.uk to point to my in-house server with a static ip address.

I think the ftp record is one of the protected ones that you will not be able to change yourself. You will need to ask BT to adjust it for you.

Don't worry, the ftp. record is just cosmetic really and you will still be able to access your BT webspace without it.
