Transfer .co.uk Domain to BT (STATUS PENDING) Emails don't work!

Hi,

 

After transferring my Domain to 123-Reg I've found my .co.uk emails don't work!!

I've now requested to send the Domain back to BT and currently the status is 'pending'

 

Two questions -

 

How long does it usually take as I need the emails back up and running ASAP

 

And... Will the emails automatically configure as they were before, in other words, will I have to set up the emails again once the my Domain is back in BT??

 

Anyone with any advise would be much appreciated!!

My domain is linnetts.co.uk

Hi

 

I am afraid I can't supply exact timescales on how long it would take to transfer the domain back to BT, it would really depend on how quickly your new provider changes the TAGS and allow us to take over the registration. There is information on Transferring a domain to BT Business and switching to BT Webhosting that could help. I would also suggest contacting the domain team vie their webform for General Enquiry.

 

What I can tell you is that you will need to set up the email alias's again. If you are transferring the domain back to a BTConnect account that already has secondary mail accounts set up, all you would need to do is register an alias to each secondary mail account.
