I set up a new computer last May, but had to mothball it and continue with the old one until now. I have attempted to transfer the e-mail received since May using Windows Easy Transfer, but it has not come across (not much has, but it is easy enough to transfer ordinary files). I don't know how to transfer my e-mail files. My e-mail program is Windows Live Mail. Can anyone advise?
Also, maybe due to the migration to Office 365, the new e-mail comes in on a different page from the pre-May e-mail. It would be convenient to keep them together. This happened automatically after the migration on my old computer but maybe no longer possible?

Depends on the version of Windows Live Mail you are using, but you should be able to export all the mail to a file on disk and then import it into your new computer.
This article describes a slightly different situation, but the principles are applicable to what you want to do.
