Uploading photo's

JaffaParr

I have already built one site and am now building second site with name change. I am trying to upload photo's which have been loaded onto first site but keep getting file permission error message. How can that be when same photo is being used to upload.

Hi Jaffa,

I would suggest that you contact BT and ask them to look into this for you.

Hard to say why the permission might have changed but a surefire way to fix it would be to reset them to default again. If you are on windows instructions are at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308419. If you are on a Mac it would be at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963?viewlocale=en_US. Often times I've found on windows simply copying the file and saving it with a different name works also, so that's something else to try. Hope this helps.

You are using EasySiteWizard Pro I presume?

If so, check in your BT account area for uppercase characters in your domain name (The link that says 'Manage yourdomain.com') and if this is the case report it to BT as this is what causes this issue.

Dave and Duskjome.

I have checked the address, no uppercase characters. I have restored the settings and done the 3rd party browser tab. I still get the file permission error on anyhting I am trying to upload. Now have pictures from the club that I wish to upload.
