Using Homehub 4 to replace Business Hub

Sully316

We are constantly having wireless issues on the Business hub where the wireless drops virtually every other day and the router has to be restarted to get it working again.  I was wondering if I bought the new home hub 4 would it work when we are a business ? We are on infinity.  I read in another post that BT are designing a new business hub but I really am at the end of my teather with the business hub and would gladly buy the homehub 4 but will it work ?

Any advice would be most appreciated.  Thanks, Phil

Have plunged and got a bt home hub 4.  Have installed this and is up and running ok at the moment.  Already the people in our far end offices that have never been able to get a wireless signal before have now got one and they are happily surfing on their phones etc with 2 bars on the signal.

I will definately look at WAP if the homehub 4 doesnt hold up.  Thanks MHC !

You would be better off buying a dedicated Wirelss Access Point - WAP and locating that where it gives best coverage.   Connect the WAP to the business hub with an Ethernet cable set up te WAP and off you go.

You can always add a WAP to the Hub4 to improve coverage.    I currently have 4 WAPs (including my router) working here - both wife and I work from home and have full coverage across a large house and gardens.
