Hi I am trying to divert incoming calls from a redirected line to my voip line to a third party phone when I am out , how do I do that. as normal call diversion keys don't work as I get a message saying sorry call diversion is not possible to this number, whilst it has worked in the past on normal phone line,
All I can assume is that the process is different.

Can you confirm if the redirect to the voip is still active? if so then their are two ways to forword the voip, first is codes if it is a straight divert the code is *21*number#
the other way you can forword from the voip is going to here www.bt.com/businessbbv/webcare and logging in with your BBV 05 number and password then going to call forward and setting the required divert.
If the redirect divert to voip has stopped you will need to setup the divert again to voip from the original number.

I've found that we have to treat our VOIP line a bit differently when it comes to diverting. We dial *21*, wait for the message and then put the number in that you want to divert to and it works.
Using the website to divert is useful too, though, as if you leave the office and forget to divert, you can put the divert on remotely using the website.
