Hi,
Im trying to set up a VoIP phone on the BT Versatility broadband module. apparently it used to just work when you plugged it in, but now it wont connect I was wondering if it could be somethin to do with the user domain settings and the proxy server.
when plugged in all the phone does is try to find the IP card and then says local IP card address is invalid.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
We are also having problems with our Voip and Versatility System. When it was first setup by the Bt enginner it seemed to work OK. Then after a period of time whenever we made a call it would only connect for 9 seconds then drop out. Since then we have tried to re-configure the system, but now will not connect at all.
Has anyone the correct setup details to get the Voip working. The phone are expensive and we would like to get the system working from our two remote offices.
Any help would be great
Richard
I am also having the same issue. Hoping for some positive reply.
Hi,
I have a PDF Broadband Module User Guide for the Versatility, happy to email you if this would help.

Hi Chris, did you get anywhere ?
I have the same problem - 3 VOIP phones worked perfectly until I packed them away two years ago and now they won't find the Versatility. I have the programming manual & software for the VOIP phones and the Versatility but it doesn't help. The phones (like yours) try to find the IP and fail but the broadband module software lists lots of IP addresses within the module but none are the address the phones are looking for. The module does, however, include the ID numbers of all three phones together with the extension numbers allocated to them. Nobody can (or will) tell me which IP address I need to change or even if it is the phone or the Versatility that requires the changes. I am absolutely desperate because I urgently need to get the extensions working again.
Hello friend
