Was told I'd be able to get Annex M on my line by sales + 1 more issue

Hi there I have gotten my Broadband installed and the stats look quite good

However I have been trying hopelessly to get someone to put change me from Annex A to Annex M modulation and after 3 hours continuesly on the phone getting transferred back and forth no one seemed to know what I was on about. For an ISP to not know what Annex M is is discraceful. It is a requirement to learn these things to become tech support in most EU countries so why are we different?

Anyway needless to say I found one agent who didn't know what it was but would put it on my line and then disconnected my call. Nothing has happened after a few days and I am calling out to one of the moderators here to work their magic. I was sold BT Buisiness Broadband under the promise that I would infact be able to get Annex M

One other issue that has cropped up lately as well is I was on Fath interleaving but due to faulty wiring in one of the sockets I had to unplug everything (including the modem) and leave it off while my landlord fixed the wiring/socket. After plugging it all back in it's changed to Interleaved and I'm not sure why? My line was on for 2 solid days and VERY stable on Fast

Hi Chaos,

I am sorry to see you have been getting the run around regarding Annex M.  At the moment BT residential and business broadband have no plans at the moment to roll out Annex M to customers.
