Website Title Wrong!

Hi there - recently built a new site using the Easy Wizard and after it was published, noticed it was showing on Google as 'My New Website - Home'. Now, I know that this is the default name that fills in when a new site is created, but I have altered it when I created the new site and the site title does not even contain those words any more! Where is the live version picking this data up from and how do I force a change please? I have been back to the site and changed the title and republished, and even forced a refresh from the main servers, but it still shows 'My New Website' in Google. Have I done something wrong and if so, what? I can't understand it as I have built other sites with no problem. It seriously feels like a glitch! Thanks in advance - JMB

Hey, you can change the website title by clicking on "site details" and changing what's in the title field. If making the change there and publishing isn't working i would recommend contacting support.

Hi there - thanks for the response. Tried that though. The site details are correct on Wizard and have been published several times since then but for some reason the search results still show 'My New Website'!!! Will have to log it as a fault then. Thanks for taking the time to respond though. Now, to find out how to raise a fault.....!! Cheers - JMB

Hi Jmb,
The title will notupdate sstraight away on Google.
Once Google does its next crawl and include your site it will be updated.

I think you are chenging but it is not save in your hosting site. You can do it offline and then file up;oad to your main
site. Thats may help..
Here is a example..

Hi,
I am agreed with Ian1974. It will show the old one until Google bot didn't crawl your website again and see the updates. I think, you have to check the cached date and wait for the next crawl.
