Windows Live Mail and 365 upgrade

Is anyone else having problems with the 365 upgrade. Despite following instructions and changing settings on my account properties, I am unable to send emails from Windows Live Mail through the 365 system.

 

Any bright ideas? BT have told me they do not provide support for Windows Live Mail and that as I am trying to send through a Homehub using a business address, it is not possible to send emails. This is, in my opinion, rubbish as I should be able to send and receive anywhere that I can log on, surely?

 

ANy help on this would be wlecomed

Hi Brian,

 

Security essentials should be fine, I'd disable any email scnaaer if there is one?

 

You could try another mail client, not as a permenant solution, but as a test to see if it is an issue with the program, if not I'd call the helpdesk when the problem occurs and we can take a look.
