i feel for you mike123acc, i really do.
here's my situation,
the most appauling Service i have ever experienced in my life, considering we are business customers too....
basically i took over a new business at the beginning of the month, all i requested was that i take over the exiting phone line\plan etc.. but register all in my name\bankdetails.. after paying a fee and being told line would be activated iwithin 24\48hrs, i waited and waited and waited... chased up and day 3, 4 and 5.. no one could give me a answer, some did not even achknowledge my phone number as a business line, other quesoted a ref number, when re-quoted,told number does not exist. bounced around between after-sales, sales, told nothiong can be done as order is not complete, will be another 10days... all this for a business customer! then on day 5 spoke to an engineer who did something remotely and line was working.
10 days later, the phone gets cut off. so i make the call to BT, again no one can tell me what is happening and why cut off, all i was told is that the order was not complete, and due to be completed by 5pm that day. waited until 5pm, even gave benefit of the doubt and waited until the next day... guess what???????? no working phone line, still no one can tell me why cut off in first place. have emailed complaints team, who respond within 2 working days, still waiting.. any way eventually an engineer comes out, and said that the phone number was connected to the wrong line (ATM machine)!!, lots have things have happend along the way, such as no contact, being sent text updates to say job is complete, no fault found, with no testing or contact....
FRUSTRATED but at least the phone is working, no have to deal with the complaints from my cutomers..
I don't want to feed the trolls here guys or be purposely antagonistic. I'm a student working for BT Retail in the Business department during the summer break and in my particular department/area there are some things I think could be done better etc. but these issues are for entirely different departments of BT.
