another unhappy BT customer

Hi,

BT just have one more unhappy customer.

All I wanted was to move my BT telephone line to my new house ( after I move to new house.)
its been a month now and BT is not willing to move my line to my new house.

THIS IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT BT IS NOT EVEN BOTHERING TO CALL ME ABOUT MY PROBLEM.
I AM CONTACTING BT FROM LAST ONE MONTH TO GET A TELEPHONE LINE @ MY HOME AND BT IS NOT GIVING ANY EARS TO IT.

I have logged so many complaints via the web, BT didn't bother to answer any of them.

I am calling BT help desk since last one month and spending 1-2 hours everyday HOLDING THE LINE so someone can answer me.

AFTER SUCH A LONG HOLDING TIME, EITHER THEY KEEP ON TRANSFERRING ME TO DIFFERENT BT DEPARTMENTS OR THEY SIMPLY DISCONNECT ME FROM THE BT HELP DESK.

DO BT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS AT ALL ???????

I haven't received this bad customer service anywhere else in the whole world.

I SWITCHED FROM TALK-TALK TO BT ONLY BECAUSE I THOUGHT BT WILL GIVE ME BETTER SERVICE.
but BT wants to prove me wrong.

I have logged many complaints and one of them is 071127-001784.

Is there anyone in BT who can help me getting a telephone line??????? can anyone hear me?????

I understand the previous owner of this property also had problems with BT and he moved to vergin media.

I hope bt is not taking revenge on me...
Well I am the new owner of this property and that person has moved out. so I am not the right guy.... Please provide me a BT line.. (how many times I have to say that???)....

BT help desk and online complaints couldn't help me so far. don't know if this forum can help getting me telephone line???

Ufffffff....

please. I'll be greatfull if anyone from BT can get me a phone line.

regards
Mohan

Well I'm sorry to hear you had probs mohan,
but I don't see the point of your post,
I mean it doesn't even ask an IT support question.

Yes.

I am having the same problem with regard to getting anything done with BT.

I am starting to understand why a number of the small business and other people I know switched from BT after the first contract expired, or they could get out of it. It seems there is no complaints system that works effectively. Even the complaints email shown is for broadband only. I won't consider staying with BT after my 1 year contract expires, but I would still like to deal with the problems I currently am experience. I know this is for IT support and this is what we should be discussing here. But I KNOW what the problem is. I don't need support. I just need a person that has the authority / responsibilty to sort it out. I can not get BT to respond to a request to speak to someone directly. That's all I have been asking for the last week. Bizarre.

For what it's worth, I just need reconnection after BT mistakingly (after having told me they wouldn't) disconnected me for late payment of a bill (which has now been paid). The point is, I was told something (that they wouldn't disconnect because I had told BT when it would be paid). And BT did something else. I deserve, at least, a chance to speak to someone and understand what is going on. And I need my phone back on. So far, neither has happened. If you have the misfortune to try and sort these things out with BT, you realise the company has no system in place to allow for the speedy resolution of service errors (whether made by BT or not). And then there is the BT concept of not replying to support / complaint emails at all (well, they have disconnected my phone).

Good luck to the rest of you.

i feel for you mike123acc, i really do.

here's my situation,

the most appauling Service i have ever experienced in my life, considering we are business customers too....

basically i took over a new business at the beginning of the month, all i requested was that i take over the exiting phone line\plan etc.. but register all in my name\bankdetails.. after paying a fee and being told line would be activated iwithin 24\48hrs, i waited and waited and waited... chased up and day 3, 4 and 5.. no one could give me a answer, some did not even achknowledge my phone number as a business line, other quesoted a ref number, when re-quoted,told number does not exist. bounced around between after-sales, sales, told nothiong can be done as order is not complete, will be another 10days... all this for a business customer! then on day 5 spoke to an engineer who did something remotely and line was working.

10 days later, the phone gets cut off. so i make the call to BT, again no one can tell me what is happening and why cut off, all i was told is that the order was not complete, and due to be completed by 5pm that day. waited until 5pm, even gave benefit of the doubt and waited until the next day... guess what???????? no working phone line, still no one can tell me why cut off in first place. have emailed complaints team, who respond within 2 working days, still waiting.. any way eventually an engineer comes out, and said that the phone number was connected to the wrong line (ATM machine)!!, lots have things have happend along the way, such as no contact, being sent text updates to say job is complete, no fault found, with no testing or contact....

FRUSTRATED:manmad: but at least the phone is working, no have to deal with the complaints from my cutomers..

I don't want to feed the trolls here guys or be purposely antagonistic. I'm a student working for BT Retail in the Business department during the summer break and in my particular department/area there are some things I think could be done better etc. but these issues are for entirely different departments of BT.
