cannot confirm primary domain name

I am trying to activate a client's webhosting - they have upgraded from home account to business bt

 

but on "Confirm primary domain name" in the 'activate hosting' section, it says:

>>>>>>>>> I have tried again later - same problem - what do I do now?

 

 

(amazing - every time I have to use BT hosting there is a problem)

Hi Egg,

 

Sorry to hear you are having these issues.

 

Sounds like an issue on the internal systems, if you fill out the dns enquiry form at www.dnsforms.co.uk we will look into this.

 

Meanwhile if by chance the domain has been activated but not showing on your account, try logging into the following URL with your primary domain and password.

 

https://hosting.hostingbt.com/OS4/index.php

Thanks for reply

the problem is I am then landed at your DNS enquiry form page

(for a start you should change the URL to include "BT" - it gives impression it's not part of BT)

 

and then I need the "WM" customer account number - which I dont have

 

I'm the web developer

I have the passwords but I don't have this extra baggage and I can't submit the form without it

that is beyond dumb

 

AND I had the exact same problem with another client when we needed to change DNS

 

so it now all has to wait till Tuesday - whereas the BT person who my client spoke to last week said "all you need to do now is click the activate button"

 

(and no it's not activated when trying the link you gave)

 

and finally on your dns form it has this phrase: 

Phone number query relates to

but the problem is DNS not phones
