 Hi Tony,

This could be due to the selection you make while logging in.

If you are using Internet Explorer to browse it will prompt you to ask if you want to display unsecure content.

If you say yes to this prompt to allow unsecure content, rather than no, you should then see your thumbnail for the site you are building and be able to access the editor.

Please let us know if this works for you?

Thanks

Thanks,

I managed to test that in both Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox and both can access the correct site successfully.

I have accessed the editor in both browsers and they show the same site which is online.

So, the problem could just be a stale connection.

This can sometimes happen if you don not reboot (power down) your router for long periods.

To perform a reboot, switch off or pull the power lead out of the back of your router for 30 seconds minimum and put back in.  This will refresh the connection and you can try again, always say yes to the displaying nonsecure items prompt if you are using Internet explorer.

If this does not work, then you can also try deleting your cache and cookies stored by your browser.

Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools > Internet Options and click on Delete Cookies, then Delete Files.  Close the browser and try again.

Please report back with your progress.

Thanks

hi colin thanks for taking the time to help me out.

I have done as you suggested.

Still no thumbnail for my site on edit page.

I have read on other posts that by clicking no instead of yes can work.

But as you said to click only yes I havnt tried that yet.

Any other ideas.

As I mentioned earlier could it have something to do with me publishing my site, should I have done something before doing that.

Hi there,

The site is there ready to edit as I'm able to access it from here which fortunately means there is no fault.

If you try the steps I suggested on the last post, ie. rebootingf the router and deleting the temporary files and web cache you should have success.

These are steps we would follow if you were to call the technical helpdesk.

Please try these and you should get your access back.

Thanks
