hi guys, i've just installed phpmyadmin and now im at the point of logging in at www.domain.co.uk/phpmyadmin/index.php
I get the error: #2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server Im asuming this is becuase invalid user/pass
But I do not know my login/pass I've tried root, admin, my ftp login, all that stuff but theres so many combinations i could try. I personally have not yet changed this and it should be as defualt. Does anyone know what bt sets this too? or what it could be? thanks in advance.

Hi
I have looked over the PHPmyadmin User Guide, from what i can see there is not a default username and password. The information is set up by you when installing the software under step 4 where it asks you to enter an admin username and password. I would have a read over the userguide in the link above.
From what i can see, as long as you have the database username and database password you will be able to unistall the software and then reinstall creating new admin details.
Please let us know how you get on,
Kind Regards
Fiona

firstly, thanks for the reply :D. Unfortunatly I only have access to the FTP, do you know of anyway around it via FTP? if not, i guess its time to buy a new domain XD. My account to the BT stuff has been blocked and i don't really want to deal with the hassle of contacting support.
thanks again

Hi
Sorry, if you can't access it this way you would need to contact the Technical Support Team, there is an online form if you don't want to call.
Kind Regards
