its me again,

 

i have now sorted out my website, but when people use it and submit queries

i am not receiving them,

 

have i missed something out?

First of all, the page

 

http://trustfreight.co.uk/GENERAL%20ENQUIRY.html

 

remove the space between general and enquiry.. that's why you see %20. place _ instead of the space.

 

see if this resolves the issue, also make sure the e-mail address you have is valid.

Hi Dawn.

what you need to do is set up the Formmail application. This is in the website os control panel, under site builders, plug-in scripts, formmail. All you need to do is fill in a valid e-mail address, copy and paste the code into the form tags, and you should receive the e-mails.

Hi Dawn,

 

Try removing the space from the filename of the page, eg change it from GENERAL ENQUIRY.html to general_enquiry.html and see if this resolves the issue.

hi chantale,

 

i have installed our email address as formmail requested, but i still don't know what to do now sorry,

 

it is telling me to open my local form html page using an editor and modify the form tags as follows:

 

<form method="POST" actioZONE Cn="/cgi-bin/formmail">

 

 i have to cut and paste this between the form tags:

 

<input TYPE="hidden" NAME="recipient" VALUE="irishgroupage@trustfreight.co.uk">
<input TYPE="hidden" NAME="email" VALUE="postmaster@trustfreight.co.uk">

 

save form html pag

and upload form html

 

i'm sorry but this means nothing to me

i have done this and i am receiving emails from carrierzone but all i get is IP.86.162.56.94

 

what does this mean

you get the e-mail, great. do you get the information the customer inserted or do you just get that IP address?

just the ip address hun
