BT taking money - I don't even have a BT account!

Hey guys, I'm living in China, and thus do not have any account with any business in the UK apart from my car insurance.

I've just had a payment for £40 taken out of my bank account under BT GROUP PLC. Anyone experienced this? It was also taken out under a direct debit. Something I've not set up.

I'm 7 hours ahead and finding it impossible to find a way to contact BT to get them to tell me what is going on.

Is there a reference for the payment? Sometimes this can be your account number, or your bank can provide it. Once you have this, you can narrow down what account it is linked to.
