I was hoping someone could help. My Dad recently sold his business due to ill health, but he is still paying for his BT account. Unfortunately, he is terminally ill and in a hospice, so he is unable to make the call to BT himself. I have tried calling BT to cancel his business account (phone line and fibrew to the property), but I was informed that I am not an authorised user and therefore cannot cancel it. I've tried to find somewhere on his BT business account to add myself in, but I can't find how to do this. Please could anyone advise? It's costing him over £100 a month currently. If you register an online account with a bill for his account from the last 9 months, it will add you onto that account.

Thank you for your reply! I did what you said, and it turns out I had (at some point, bumbling around) already done this. I am registered with access to his account, but when I phoned cancellations, I was told that I wasn't an authorised user. I'll try again and get back to you.
