a few months ago I moved house, and BT charged me an early termination fee (several hundred £) by mistake. They then disconnected my line for non-payment. I was forced to pay their required amount to reconnect. I raised a complaint which found that I had been indeed incorrectly charged, and I was refunded my money. However, my account still showed in debit for the amount refunded, and the Direct Debit was still trying to charge me the same amount. Their case manager told me this wasn't the case, and yet it moved. So I cancelled the DD just to be safe. After the complaint closed, the same **bleep** is happening again: it's showing me in debit for £1,700+. Their case manager, after telling me it was a technical error and I only owed £90 (£45/mo * 2 months), then reversed himself and said I have to pay them the money I was refunded as a result of the previous complaint. Are they for real?
Hi ekrartona
Is this for a business or residential account?
