Hi, we're a small business (4 full time staff) and our experience with BT over the last few months has left me in a state of despair. I'm reaching out on here today for someone to please, please help.
Today saw another amount taken from our account, now totalling £1267 of overcharge and no matter what we try we can't get a resolution. We've been lied to, our calls passed around to so many different departments and then hung up on. It's countless hours now wasted on what should be a simple resolution, our company now being 20 years a customer of BT and I just can't believe we're being treated like this.
The crux is our local BT business rep contacted about our contract ending and sorting something new. He said BT Business One Phone was terminating and we needed to switch to BT cloud voice and EE. He said when our numbers ported over, our old contract would be terminated. There was a pause in billing from One Phone, then a few months later we had a really high combined bill, when querying it we discovered One Phone was never terminated and we needed to give 30 days notice.
Since having confirmation in writing our One Phone account has been terminated, we're still being charged for it monthly and no one from BT Local or Onephone will help. Our sales rep has disappeared and no one senior enough to help will ever contact us back. At this point we're being stolen from - charged monthly for a service that has been formally cancelled.
Can anyone help us?
Hi Neil_W
I'm sorry to hear about this - please send over a private message to me with account details so I can look into this for you.
Hi, I have just posted a similar complaint. Switched to full fibre from a copper line in January 24 and since then we are being charged for two lines. Several hours of phone calls every month to BT billing, each time reassured it will be resolved. I told them I was cancelling the DD until they sorted it. They now tell me I need to pay over £3000! I just don't know what to do next.
