I am out of contract with BT and currently use Full Fibre 300 at ~£50/month. I called the cancellation number and they offered 300 at £40, 500 at £50 and 900 at £51. New customers can get 500 for £31.
Have any of you been able to get the new customer deal recently which already a customer? I’m out of contract.
Actually cancelling would not be ideal as I work from home and can’t have no internet.
Hi, if you can send me over a message privately I can take your details and I will arrange for the correct team to contact you and they will offer you the best deal on the service you have. Thank you, Adam
the classic BT broadband pricing tango — starts with a gut-punch renewal quote and ends with a magical "loyalty discount" once you threaten to leave. It’s like they’re banking on people being too busy or unaware to challenge the price. It’s frustrating that loyalty often gets penalized while new customers get all the sweet deals. I get that it’s a business, but the whole game feels deliberately opaque. Honestly, every year it’s the same dance: check your contract, call up, threaten to cancel, get a better price. Would be nice if providers just offered fair, transparent pricing without the theatrics — kind of like how some apps with an fc mobile mod menu just let you unlock what you need upfront, instead of making you jump through hoops.
