Greetings,
Our server encountered an incursion by an enigmatic malware, resulting in the compromise of header data across numerous files, including vital databases and select backups. Remarkably, the transaction log file (.LDF) for the operational database remained unscathed. Furthermore, an antiquated .BAK backup file is at our disposal.
Is it feasible to elevate the former backup's database (.MDF) to an operational standard using the current and advanced log file? If affirmative, could you kindly elucidate the methodology? Any assistance extended in this matter is sincerely valued.
