unable to remotely access files via vpn

Hi,

I have moved offices and chose bt business.  I was sent a smart hub 3, which all works fine.  I have a synology VPN server that I have tried to access externally and have been unable to.  I had no issues with this before,  I have opened all the required ports on the smart hub but still can't seem to access the vpn.

 

any advice?  Do I need to use a different router?  if so how do I set this up?

Have you tried turning off the hub's firewall, just temporarily?

You say that you have opened ports, but have you set up port forwarding, so that the VPN traffic is sent to the NAS?  It definitely works as I have this setup.
