BT DNS Server not resolving our website address but googles works fine?

We can't seem to access our website off our office wifi.

www.envisioav.co.uk

If we access it via 4g or via a VPN connection it works fine. Our website guys have said they cant see any issues on there side.

Ive just done some basic tests and if we use the google DNS then it resolves immediately, however the HomeHub wont allow us to change the DNS settings which is annoying!

The home hub is currently set to
DNS
81.139.56.100

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hi tidymax

You mention a Home Hub, do you have a BT Business or BT Residential connection?

Good question,i'm pretty sure its a business connection. HomeHub was just out of habit i think!

Just checked on the router and on the web gui its model is just listed as HUB and the firmware its on is:

v0.42.00.10167-BT

Not sure if homehubs and business hubs have different FW but if they do then hopefully that is an indicator 🙂

Hi tidymax

There should be a label on the base of the router with the model name on it, can you check this and let me know that the name is?

Hi tidymax

I'm pretty sure our BT Business routers say BT Business Smart Hub 2 instead. If you could send me a private message with some account details, I can confirm either way for you.

In the hub GUI is the DNS server set to automatic?
